The Morocco Economic Monitor is a semiannual
report from the World Bank economic
team on recent economic developments and
economic policies. This report presents our current
outlook for Morocco given the recent COVID-19
developments. Its coverage ranges from the macroeconomy
to business environment and private sector
development. It is intended for a wide audience,
including policy makers, business leaders, financial
market participants, and the community of analysts
and professionals engaged in Morocco.
The Morocco Economic Monitor is a product
of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) unit in the
Macroeconomics, Trade & Investment (MTI) Global
Practice in the World Bank Group. The report was led
by Javier Díaz-Cassou (Senior Economist, MTI) and
Amina Iraqi (Economist, MTI).
